According to details published on the website of the Latvian Technology in Space (run by the Ministry of Education and Science) the aim is to develop a platform to support coordinated access and exploitation of EO-based information services by governmental stakeholders in the Baltics.
The ESA has 22 Member States with the mission to shape the development of Europe’s space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world. ESA provides several funding opportunities for scientists and industry.
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia coordinates Latvia’s industrial and research participation in the programs of the ESA.
