Rescues went to Kronvalda Boulevard on Thursday around 17:00.
Firefighters placed 45 meters of enclosing and 35 meters of absorbents at the site.
The State Environmental Service has been informed of the event.

Rīgas kanāls.On Thursday, a substance of unknown origin was observed in the Rīga City Canal in a patch of about 600 square meters, the State Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) said.
