Monday's figure is usually the lowest of the week due to fewer tests being carried out on Sundays compared to other days.
Of the new cases, 157 were unvaccinated persons, or persons not fully vaccinated, and 169 were fully vaccinated. The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 267,465.
Of the 4,933 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 6.6% were positive. The 14-day cumulative morbidity rate per 100,000 population rose slightly from 518.2 Sunday to 523.2 Monday.
