The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 134,421.
Of 10,774 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 2.4% were positive, down slightly on the 2.5% rate of Thursday.
Continuing the encouraging trend of the last two weeks, the 14-day cumulative infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants fell yet again from 230.7 Thursday to 219.2 Friday.

Unfortunately ten deaths were registered Friday, the death toll since the start of the pandemic now reaching 2,402.
Meanwhile in Estonia 96 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed June 4, while in Lithuania the figure was 365.

Use of nose and mouth coverings is compulsory in all public places indoors, including workplaces. Physical distancing and frequent hand washing and sanitary cleaning habits are encouraged.
