The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 133,518.
Of 14,546 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 2.2% were positive, down on the 3.1% rate of Monday.
Continuing the encouraging trend of the last two weeks, the 14-day cumulative infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants fell yet again from 266 Monday to 255 Tuesday.

Use of nose and mouth coverings is compulsory in all public places indoors, including workplaces. Physical distancing and frequent hand washing and sanitary cleaning habits are encouraged.
