There were no additional Covid-19 deaths confirmed Sunday. The death toll since the start of the pandemic remains at 2,536.
On Saturday 71 patients were being treated for Covid-19 symptoms in Latvian hospitals, while the number of people who have completed a course of vaccination reached 607,564.
Meanwhile 27 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Estonia Sunday and 25 cases in Lithuania.
