On Friday, September 10, Latvia recorded 489 new cases of Covid-19 infection, according to the Disease Prevention and Control Center (SPKC), almost the same figure as the 490 cases on Thursday.

Of the total number of positive cases, 395 were unvaccinated persons, or persons not fully vaccinated, and 94 were fully vaccinated.

Unfortunately, four more Covid-related deaths were also confirmed, all of persons aged from 70-89 years. The death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 2,602.
