There were two additional Covid-19 deaths confirmed Tuesday. The death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 2,538.
On Monday 73 patients were being treated for Covid-19 symptoms in Latvian hospitals, while the number of people who have completed a course of vaccination reached 615,268.
Meanwhile 54 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Estonia Monday and 86 cases in Lithuania.
