471 people used accommodation services because of contacts between Covid-19 patients, Covid-19 patients with mild symptoms, as well as Covid-19 patients after hospital treatment. Another 58 were repatriates who returned to Latvia from the United Kingdom with repatriation trips on 28 and 29 December last year.

Five persons were released from a detention facility and had the Covid-19 infection or were identified as contact persons.

Kovaļevskis said that there are currently 28 contracts, including 14 hotels in Rīga and 14 in the regions. The services of self-isolation in hotels will be provided until the end of June.
