The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 136,030.
Of 6,466 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 1.4% were positive, down on Saturday's 2.0% rate.
The 14-day cumulative infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants continued to decline, from 159.6 Saturday to 154.9 Sunday.

Five more deaths were also confirmed Sunday as a result of Covid-19. The death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 2,456.
The National Health Service (NVD) said Sunday that 305 patients are currently being treated for coronavirus symptoms in Latvia's hospitals. Of that number 51 have serious symptoms. Additionally the NVD said that on June 12 3,194 people received a first vaccination dose and 2,269 received a second dose.
So far, 561,166 people have received a first dose and 382,236 a second dose.

Meanwhile in Estonia 37 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed Sunday and in Lithuania the total was 117 cases.

Use of nose and mouth coverings is compulsory in all public places indoors, including workplaces. Physical distancing and frequent hand washing and sanitary cleaning habits are encouraged.
