The downward trend following the increase in Covid-19 morbidity this summer was also observed in other European countries.
Last week, from August 22 to August 28, there was a 33% reduction in Covid-19 cases in Latvia and a slight decrease in the number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals – by 3.5%.
The reduction in the number of new cases is observed in all regions of Latvia and in all age groups.
