Late on Thursday, the Vaccination project bureau, which is in charge of the project, responded to LSM's queries about when the website will appear, saying:
"The site manavakcina.lv English could be [ready] in the second half of April."
No explanation was offered regarding the large discrepancy between the original estimate of late February and the new target of mid-to-late April.
As previously reported by LSM, on February 5 the Latvian-language version of the website went live, and was followed by a Russian-language website on February 18.
However, despite assurances on February 13 that an English-language equivalent would be available "within two weeks, definitely" it did not happen.
