The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,941. The four latest victims were aged over 60 years.
Monday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 209 patients being treated in hospitals, 9 of whom are displaying serious symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
Latvia is also part of the European Union's wider Covid-19 certification scheme.
