Latvia gets another batch of 'Moderna' vaccines

On Sunday, January 31, Latvia received a second delivery of the “Moderna” vaccine – a batch of 2,400 doses, said representatives of the National Health Service (NVD).

On January 12, the first delivery of the Moderna vaccine was received, with 1,200 doses of the vaccine. The next delivery  is scheduled in the week starting February 8, with 3,600 doses of vaccine, and 15,600 doses of vaccine in the week of February 22.

Quarterly deliveries and quantities of the Moderna vaccine, as currently planned, are the following:

  • In Q1, 42,182 doses of vaccines;
  • In Q2, 147,195 doses of vaccines;
  • In Q3, 147,189 doses of vaccines.

Altogether, Latvia has received 33,825 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines.
