The total number of cases detected since the start of the pandemic now stands at 136,850.
Monday's figure is usually the lowest of the week, partly due to a relatively small number of tests being carried out on Sundays.
Of 5,023 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 1.3% were positive, a figure consistent with recent days.
The 14-day cumulative infection rate per 100,000 inhabitants continued its decline, from 105.5 Sunday to 103.6 Monday. 100 is the figure at which the epidemiological risk is rated "moderate" rather than "high" and now looks likely to be hit Tuesday or Wednesday.
