Out of 4,174 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 9.8% were positive. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 of the population fell from 420.2 Thursday to 391.3 Friday, dipping below 400 for the first time since September 2021.
SPKC said that it would no longer post daily updates on Saturday and Sunday due to the declining morbidity. Summary statistics would be published on Mondays.

One Covid-related death was confirmed over the past 24 hours, the victim aged 90-99 years. The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,749.
Thursday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) shows 323 patients being treated in hospitals. 24 patients were admitted and 29 were discharged over the past 24 hours. 11 patients are displaying serious symptoms.
