Since the beginning of the pandemic, 905,904 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.
The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,957. The latest victim was aged over 80 years.
Thursday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 210 patients being treated in hospitals, nine of whom are displaying serious symptoms.
