One in five vaccinated people has the booster in Latvia

Around one in five people who have the primary vaccination also has the booster, according to LETA estimates based on National Health Service data December 29.

In Latvia, around 1.258 million people or 66.93% of the population are fully vaccinated,  of which 242,099 or 19.26% have received the booster. Around 17.79% of the total population have the booster.

On Tuesday, compared to Christmas holidays and the first post-holiday day, the pace of vaccination against Covid-19 in Latvia increased - 10,186 people got the jab, of which 884 received the first dose of the vaccine, 1,492 got the second, 165 got the single-dose jab while 4,545 got the booster.
