Of the newly-confirmed cases, 330 cases were recorded in unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated people, while 807 were fully vaccinated.
Out of 3,871 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 29.4% were positive. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 of the population declined further from 2634.3 Saturday to 2550.4 Sunday. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 790,620 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.

Three more Covid-related deaths were also confirmed. All victims were aged 60 and over, and two were fully vaccinated. The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic now stands at 5,560.
Saturday hospital data from the National Health Service show 872 patients being treated in hospitals. 133 patients were admitted and 195 were discharged during the previous 24 hours. 28 patients are displaying serious symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
