Of 2,433 tests carried out, 7.2% were positive. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population fell from 122.3 Wednesday to 119.5 Thursday. This is the lowest level since August 2021.

The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,828. The latest victims were aged 80-99 years.
Wednesday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 166 patients being treated in hospitals, 9 of whom are displaying serious Covid symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
