Since the beginning of the pandemic, 897,957 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.
The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,944. One of the three latest victims was aged 40 to 49 years and the other two were aged 70 and over.
Monday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 209 patients being treated in hospitals, 9 of whom are displaying serious symptoms.
