More importantly, the rotund red-garbed runners were raising funds for the Riga International Rotary Club's "Care Mobile" program, which provides free medical consultations for children.
In nine months of this year, more than 4,000 medical consultations were provided to children in 40 different places in rural regions of Latvia. And now, thanks to the urban exertions of the rosy-cheeked chimney climbers, that number can be further increased.
