Police emphasize that not all missing person cases result in a public appeal for help. Such a strategy is only used when it can produce a result and those close to the missing person agree.
Police asked for public involvement in looking for Roberts Miksons, who went missing while walking from the Old Town early Sunday morning.
On Tuesday, March 26, police reported that Roberts Miksons had unfortunately been found dead in the Daugava River. Police thank all those involved in the search.
