30% of voters undecided in polls

Six months before the parliamentary election, about 30% of Latvian voters still have not decided for who they will cast their vote.

The Saskaņa (Harmony) party maintained its lead in the polls during March according to the latest data from the SKDS pollster produced for LTV.

The trio of party rating leaders is unchanged with Harmony on 20.4% comfortably ahead of the Greens and Farmers Union (ZZS) on 13.9% which in turn has a lead over the National Alliance on 6.3%.

The Unity party, which spectacularly failed and lost the premiership after internal bickering, may still have some life left in it on 4.9%, just below the 5% threshold needed to enter the parliament; while the New Conservative Party scores at 3.6%.

The rest of the parties seem to have little chance to cross the 5% threshold, but it should be noted that 30% of the polled say they are undecided, and 12.9% said they will not bother voting at all.
