Āris Kasparāns said that his priorities as head of NVD are improvement of service availability, data management, capacity of the establishment, Covid-19 issues and others.
Kasparāns will take the post on March 1. Since 2013, Kasparāns has been working at the Ministry of Health as the head of Accountancy department and taking lead positions in the department of Budget and Investments. Later, he became head of Resource management department.
Two years ago Kasparāns became deputy state secretary in finance. Kasparāns has a bachelor's degree in economics.
