Boy dies in Liepaja bluff landslide

A boy died last weekend when a landslide buried him at a coastal bluff in the southwestern Latvian seaside city of Liepāja, police spokeswoman Signe Steinberga told LETA.

The tragic accident happened last Friday at around 6.30 p.m. when a bluff collapsed and buried the 10 years old boy who died on the spot.

A criminal procedure has been started over the accident.
