November 21 - the day when the Maxima supermarket in Zolitūde collapsed four years ago, taking with it 54 lives - will see the premiere of Showcase ('Paraugprāva'), a documentary probing the disaster.

The film, to premiere on LTV1 at 10 p.m., offers a narrative with lawyers from the involved parties, the people who suffered, and Latvian opinion leaders.

On November 21, 2013 the roof of the Maxima supermarket collapsed, killing 54 and wounding scores of others.

It tries to answer the question of why the legal battle is still ongoing and there's still no end to the conflict.

Showcase was directed by Rihards Gēcis. Scenario by Reinis Spaile. Cinematographer - Reinis Aristovs. Producer - Anna Macko. Music by Jānis Ruņģis and Pēteris Pāss.
