According to Andrejs Rjabcevs, a representative of the Liepāja City Council, the city paid for the posters costing €420 in total.
The scheme to cast some of that Porzingis shine on the coastal town of Liepāja was authored by the council's PR Department.
The basketball star has reportedly asked to be spared further involvement into marketing activities, so as to be able to devote more time to actually playing.
Porzingis - in addition to showcasing his own city now - signed a contract with the Body Armor sports drink producer in December, and in the past has worked with Shifman Mattresses who made a custom-ordered bed for the 7 ft 3 in (2.21 m) Latvian.
If like us you've given in to the Porzingis mania, here's how you can vote for him to participate in the All-Stars game.
