Latvia has an official online portal designed to provide information and services to arriving refugees: 'Ukraine to Latvia'. The portal address is: https://www.ukraine-latvia.com/lv. It is available in four languages: Latvian, Ukrainian, English and Russian and contains information about arrival formalities, asking for help, residence permits, work opportunities, starting a company and more.
One joint help center is currently operational in Rīga, Kaļķu Street 1. The center employs different experts who assist Ukrainians with finding shelter, hand out food, sort out documents, and provide all kinds of information. The center is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00.
A second center is open at the Congress Hall (Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 5) which functions as an information center.
