Next year Latvia plans on buying body cameras for its traffic officers as part of attempt to curb bribery, reported Latvian Radio Friday.
According to State Police representative Artis Velšs, the government has granted funding in next year's budget to buy the cameras, which will be fitted on the officers' clothing and record their interactions with the drivers.
The police hopes the measure will curb corruption.
