In addition many private businesses and homes are displaying the Ukrainian flag in a show of solidarity as Ukraine bravely defends itself against Russian barbarity.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia has expressed its thanks for all the Latvian municipalities that have been displaying Ukrainian flags and other symbols in public, including Rīga city council which is flying Ukrainian flags at several locations in the capital.
