It kicks off at 12:00 on May 30 and you can watch it right here.
The main theme of the event is "Knowledge and the City", which will be discussed on the left bank of the Daugava, in the lesser-known but increasingly trendy neighborhoods of Tornakalns, Agenskalns and Ķīpsala, where the three leading Latvian universities and the National Library of Latvia are located.
On the first day of the event, May 30, activities will take place at the Latvian Railway History Museum, "shaped around lectures and pitches by world-class experts and panel discussions about different visions of development with speed-dating elements."
On the second day, May 31, MadCity will become "a full-on urban planning hackathon for the left-bank area around university campuses and its micro-mobility."
