It might snow Wednesday in parts of Latvia

Take note – story published 1 year ago

It's no joke – you might see snowflakes falling on Wednesday. Despite the fact that we are almost into May, forecasts show the possibility of rain, sleet and snow on Latvian territory.

Eastern and central parts of the country are most likely to see precipitation of one sort or another, but the sun will also shine intermittently.

Things will feel chilly thanks to northerly and northwesterly winds of 10-15 meters per second.

Maximum daytime air temperatures will range from +5 Celsius to + 9 C, with Rīga expected to record +7 C. The capital will likely escape rain and snowfall.
