In the morning of November 18, the whole of Latvia, with the exception of the north of Kurzeme, will have a frost of -5 C to 0 C. In the north of Kurzeme the temperature will be around +1 C to +2 C. The day will not be particularly warmer: the maximum air temperature will be between -4 C in Latgale to +2 C in the north of Kurzeme. Over the course of the day, the sun will shine. In some places, it will be snowing.
From Sunday to Tuesday, temperatures will be -8 C to -3 C at night, in some places in Vidzeme and Latgale -12 C to -10 C.
It will also be freezing during the days, except for places on the coast.
A blanket of snow will gradually be formed during the holidays, even as thick as 5 to 10 centimeters in Vidzeme and Latgale on Sunday.
Further forecasts are not yet clear, but there is a high likelihood that the weather become warmer in the second half of next week.
