November 7 is the drabbest, or the least changeable and contrasting day in the year, according to historical data by Latvia's Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.

Compared to other months, November has the most days of fog, and the sun is often covered by clouds.

November 7 is the least changeable day, historically, in terms of temperature, as on this day in 1912 the temperature was -12.2C and +13C in 1934, giving an amplitude of 25.2C.

At the opposite end of the scale is February 8, for which the same figure is at 53.5 degrees.

Forecasts say temperatures won't change significantly in the next few days, hovering close to 0C at night and about +10C during the day in Kurzeme.
