On May 28, at a former rubber-products factory 'Provodnik' in the Sarkandaugava district of Rīga, a festival of street art 'ROW' ('Riga open wall') will take place with 18 artists participating and everyone welcome, Latvian Radio reported on Friday.
The second European Latvian Cultural Festival (ELKS) will be held in Dublin, Ireland, from 13 June to 16 June, organizers have confirmed. The event brings together artistic groups from all over Europe and beyond, with seventeen different countries set to be represented.
The Ad Lucem (Latin for "towards the light") introverted music festival takes place this week, starting off with Kokle player Laima Jansone's performance on June 26 at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Rīga.
