Three for the Weekend: Art Festival, Harvest Market, Concert

Another autumn weekend is here. We have selected a few events on the calmer side this time.

Festival "Zemlika"

On October 20 to 22, the 12th art, music, and local harvest festival "Zemlika" takes place in the town of Durbe near Liepāja. The festival takes place at various locations throughout the town – the cultural center, historical school building, church, winery, and other spots, and offers concerts, conversations, exhibitions, performances and other experiences.

The full program with events and their locations, as well as information about tickets, can be found on the festival's Facebook page.

Walk and Market

On October 21 and 22, in the Mežaparks park of Rīga, a local production market will take place, providing the opportunity to take a hike and collect local goods along the way. Crafts, clothes, designer products, and harvest will be available. The entrance is free.

Choir and Piano concert

On Saturday, October 21, 19:00 at the Sigulda Concert Hall 'Baltais flīģelis' (Šveices Street 19, Sigulda), the prestigious Latvian Radio choir will perform with pianist Reinis Zariņš, who is one of the most renowned Latvian musicians today.

More information can be found on Sigulda's tourism website.
