Hike around four bridges

Last summer, Valmiera municipality marked a new nature trail forming a circle of four bridges across the river Gauja. The trail begins by the dock in Valmiera (Pilskalna Street 1), leads to Kazu rapids, across Vanšu bridge to the main bridge across the Gauja, then follows the lesser-explored left bank of the Gauja, then crosses back and leads back to the dock in Valmiera.

The entire hike is around 12 kilometers long.

You can download the GPX coordinates of the trail here
