Tickets for the event will cost from €2 to €20 and will go on sale to the public from May 23.
"The School Youth Song and Dance Celebration ticket policy is focused on making tickets available to different parts of the population. We would like to emphasize that a lot of events during the festival will be free of charge to anyone interested in the opportunity to feel special festive atmosphere," festival organizer Agra Berzina said after the decision on ticket prices was approved.
As well as individual tickets, special group and family deals will be available. Each customer will be allowed to purchase up to 8 tickets.
Even those not able to attend or to get hold of tickets to the main events at the spectacular Mezaparks open-air venue will be able to enjoy the festival via Latvian Television.
