Fifth Paralympic medal for Latvia

Athlete Diāna Dadzīte added a fifth medal to the Latvian Paralympic prize collection by scoring a bronze on top of her already earned silver on August 30.

Dadzīte's bronze came in javelin throw, with a result of 24.22 meters. 

In total, Latvia now has five Paralympic medals: Dadzīte's bronze in the javelin throw and silver in the discus throw, Aigars Apinis' bronze in the discus throw, and Rihards Snikus' two silver medals in equestrian sports.
