Latvia gets Olympic bronze in luge team relay

Latvian luge team relay with Elīza Tīruma, Kristers Aparjods, Mārtiņš Bots and Roberts Plūme earned the first Olympic medal at the 2022 Beijing games on February 10.

The Latvian team gave in only to the Germans and Austrians, taking home the bronze medal.

14 teams participated, Latvia having the start number 12.

The Beijing Olympic games take place between February 4 and 20, 2022. Latvia is represented by 57 athletes in 11 disciplines.
