72 Rail Baltica tenders to be announced this year

Businesses in various sectors will have the opportunity to scrap from 72 different tenders this year connected to the major Rail Baltica infrastructure project, the company in charge of the  project said March 16 ahead of a major meeting about its progress so far.

"At the moment, more than 70 procurements are planned to be announced this year as part of the Rail Baltica Global Project in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania," said RB Rail.

All 72 tenders, 68 of which are related to the provision of services, are to be discussed at the Rail Baltica Global Forum 2018 that will take place on April 11 in Tallinn, Estonia.

Organizers says they will "inform in detail about the general and national procurement plans, detailed list of the 2018 procurement and national procurement."

It will be the second such forum, following a first event in Riga last year. Attendees can register until March 19, 2018 at the official event website railbaltica.org/forum.
