No more mandatory masks in public transport in Latvia

Take note – story published 1 year ago

As of Sunday, May 15, it is no longer mandatory to wear masks in public transport in Latvia, as reported previously by LSM.

The changes were adopted since the spread of Covid-19 has significantly reduced, and nearly all other epidemiological safety measures had been lifted already in April.

The requirement to wear masks at medical establishments and long-term social care establishments remains in force.
