"As we see the percentage distribution [in the party ratings], the story is about which party will have two seats, and probably everyone else will have one seat. So the sweet taste of victory is not that big."
Thus, the stability of the government and possible changes in it depend on the internal mood. And at the moment there are no indications that the coalition is on the verge of a split.
"So to think that the results of the European Parliament [elections] will immediately correlate with this, I think, is unreasonable," said Lelde Metla-Rozentāle.
The European Parliament elections will take place in the Member States of the European Union from June 6 to 9.
The elections in Latvia will take place on June 8. 16 parties have registered their lists. Latvia will have nine seats in the next European Parliament instead of the current eight.
