On Wednesday, the Board of GKR has taken a decision on cooperation with the ZZS during the Saeima parliamentary term. The non-partisan MP, GKR Chairman Oļegs Burovs, will support the government formed by Evika Siliņa.
"This means that I have the power to vote for the government as the 53rd Member next week at the sitting of the Saeima. I will continue to synchronize my votes with the members of the faction of the Greens and Farmers Union. If there are any issues of principle and differences of opinion, I will pronounce them with the ZZSfaction. Similarly, I previously cooperated with the Latvia First faction," Burovs said.
Cooperation between GKR and the ZZS will also mean a joint start in the Riga City Council elections in 2025.
