The assessment of the situation, based on which a decision would also be taken, will be done on Monday, November 23, the minister said. She noted that the decision in question could be taken on Tuesday, November 24, at the government meeting.
"If we see that the overall [COVID-19 case] statistics are at the level of the current figures, we probably won't take such a step.
If there is an increase, we can make a decision [on the transition to remote learning] for the fifth and sixth grades," the Minister for Education and Science said.
Currently, grades 7 to 12 are learning remotely, while younger pupils are at school.
