Sadly, there was also news of four more Covid-related deaths. The deceased were all aged between 60 and 89 years.
The death toll since the start of the pandemic now stands at 2,669.
There are currently 357 people being treated for Covid-19 symptoms in Latvian hospitals, of which number 45 are displaying serious symptoms.
