Nearly 15% of Latvia's population has received the booster against Covid-19, according to LETA estimates, based on the National Health Service data January 5.

After a very low vaccination rate over the holidays, on Tuesday around 9,300 people got the jab which is still lower than the beginning of December 2021. Of those, 869 people received the first jab, 1281 people got the second, a further 260 people received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, while a total of nearly 7,000 people got the booster.

These data may still be changed, as medical practitioners enter data with a multiple-day lag.
