In Latvia, 1.265 million people, or 67.23% of the population are fully vaccinated while 1.316 million people or 69.92% have started the vaccination process so far. Of the vaccinated population, 21.5% have received the booster while of all Latvia's population, 14.47% have got the booster.
After a very low vaccination rate over the holidays, on Tuesday around 9,300 people got the jab which is still lower than the beginning of December 2021. Of those, 869 people received the first jab, 1281 people got the second, a further 260 people received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, while a total of nearly 7,000 people got the booster.
