Private persons, organizations and politicians came to the rally, many carrying Ukrainian flags, flowers, posters and other attributes.
Latvian Radio talked to several people, and all said they care and are ready to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.
State Police and paramedics were at the scene but no public disorder was observed.
