Weekend is finally here, and plenty of activity is going on all over Latvia. Take a look a our tips!

Cēsis 814

As the city of Cēsis celebrates its 814th anniversary, festivities are taking place over the weekend of July 18 to 19. Events include a design market, a crafts market, concerts and more. Plus, for the first time, an entire celebration is taking place online, livestreaming the stage on the Internet and on Re:Tv.

Sigulda BIO market

If you can't make it as far north as Cēsis or fancy a stop on the way, take some time to check out the market in Sigulda - including ecological local produce, activities for children, arts, crafts and decor, workshops and more. 

Time: Saturday, July 18, 10:00-16:00.
Place: Zaļās villas kvartāls, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 3, Sigulda.

Kartupeļpalma Festival in Liepāja

If the West end of Latvia floats your boat, the festival "Kartupeļpalma vējiem līdzi" takes place July 18-19 in Liepāja. Program includes “shishi” from Lithuania, “Mirrored Lips” from Russia, Latvian Simons Krasts, Helēna Kozlova, "Grupa Harijs” and DJ Uldis Rudaks.
